After painting this piece, I realized that I had painted my grandfather, whom I never knew, and my grandmother, who become judges through the mediation of my painting. The dinosaurs are not far away. Who are they and why are they there? Perhaps my dear ancestors will tell me one day?

Après avoir peint ce tableau, j'ai compris que j'avais peint mon grand-père, que je n'ai pas connu et ma grand-mère, qui deviennent juges par le truchement de mon tableau. Les dinosaures ne sont pas loin. Qui sont-ils et pourquoi là? Peut-être mes chers aieux me le diront-ils un jour?
