Our artistic adventure
My artistic journey led to the discovery that a confident and humble attention to the work in process leads to an unexpected revelation of the human soul and its complexities.
I work on several distinct series:
- the "judicial" series, exhibited in many European courthouses, mostly present here
- the enigmatic "Labyrinths"
- the "Hellenic" series
- the "politico-judicial" series published in the press
- the "La Fontaine" series
Each is a window onto the world.

The judicial series: A quirky look at justice
This series was born from the observation that lawyers had a great sense of humour, and that my works could offer them a mirror that they would appreciate. I exhibited this series throughout Europe, from courthouse to courthouse, where the paintings were invariably found inspiring. On numerous occasions, I was haled a contemporary Daumier.

The Creative Spark: From Childhood to the Canvas
Ever since childhood, La Fontaine's fables and Perrault's fairy tales have fueled my imagination, teaching me about the closeness of humanity to the animal world—a theme that sometimes appears in my works.
The initial elements of a painting often emerge without forethought; only gradually, through attention, do I begin to understand their meaning, allowing myself to be surprised by what appears beneath my brush. This is how a character can take on the features of Charles Aznavour, or how dinosaurs can break in unexpectedly in my courtroom series. Far from a grim image, dinosaurs are, to me, the symbolic embodiment of raw strength, sometimes obsolete, reflecting the antiquated nature of legal language. What causes me suffering in everyday life paradoxically provides the raw material for my painting, turning pain into a joyful artistic expression.
"My greatest wish is to bring joy, humour, colour, and exuberance through my paintings, to reveal that spark of life, attention, intelligence, kindness, and love of all living things for all living things, deep down.
